    Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is the only WWI Aerodrome of its kind in the UK & Europe. I actually got a little excited at being at Stow Maries, my tour guide was quite knowledgeable and his insight was second to none; you live the vision (well, I certainly did) as the original aerodrome is laid out before you, you get a sense of where the officers; the sargeants and enlisted men were housed. You can see the Passion and Dedication the volunteers have put in to remaking this Great Piece of Living Legend (or as I would call it) a 'Living Heritage Museum'. I was impressed with the visitor side of things; every thing is high spec (high standard), and where the modern meets history it does not disappoint. You feel like you are stepping back in time to WWI and half expect to see an RFC Officer or plane coming in to land. This was my first visit and I was very impressed. I would not be surprised to see this aerodrome on tv or being used in the movies at some point, it has vast potential. The vehicles and some of the aircraft are working and take part in their regular events. Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome is a Masterclass of Aviation History and it raises the bar on WWI restoration projects. 'My personal score is 10/10, and 'I also give Stow Maries a Gold Star'. I feel they they deserve much more than what my personal scoring can give, but to end this review, I would say that this piece of aviation history is part of the fabric of the identity of the British people that made Great Britain, Great! Stow Maries Great War Aerodrome kindly permitted me exclusive rights for my photos used in this review.
